Grace Montalvo captures the most beautiful years in Marlene’s life as a beauty queen at the University of Puerto Rico, an institution that is represented by its iconic clocktower. Accompanied by the love of her life, her son, the artwork also shows a representation of the stamps Marlene has on her passport, highlighting the many places she’s traveled to throughout her life.

Donations will be destined to De Frente al Alzheimer to help patients and their families in their condition.

Grace Montalvo is an artist who graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras. She won the Ateneo Puertorriqueño’s Visual Arts Competition for her drawings. Montalvo is known for taking any concept and transforming it into a tangible reality, which is why her art has been showcased in cities like New York, Los Angeles, at NASA, and exhibitions in multiple local museums and art galleries.
